was founded in 1999 by Steeltech
Building Products, Inc. as the e-commerce distribution site for the
Internet sales of specialty construction and replacement products.
1999 marked Steeltech's entry into the world of e-commerce with the formation of section10net.com, Inc., as its e-commerce trading subsidiary. The website was rebuilt from scratch to better serve the needs of Steeltech's clients and was re-launched in July 2002 as econstructionspecialties.com.
